I don't usually play games. I only play one and that is SimCity 3000. I'm not very good at games and anything that requires eye-hand coordination is not good for me. SimCity 3000 is perfect since it doesn't take coordination and works with perfectionism.

Restaurant Review:

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of Dining at Andersen’s. Actually it wasn’t much of a pleasure at all. They are self-proclaimed to have a World Famous Split Pea Soup. I tried a little bit of the pea soup and it was horrible. It had a sandy taste that I do not like. I especially do not like that awful green color. The entire experience was bad. First, when we needed a little more time to look at the menu, the waiter didn’t return for another fifteen minutes. After he took our orders he brought out a basket of crackers and butter. I wasn’t sure how I’m supposed to eat that. Later he brought the soup along with a basket of bread and some more butter. The bread seemed that they were left over rolls from the bakery. The onion roll was nice but it was cold. All the bread was cold. It also came with what I assume to be pumpernickel bread. It was the worst I’ve ever had. It was extreme dense and dry and cold. We waited another twenty minutes before the waiter brought the food out. We had French fries so we asked for some ketchup. The waiter said sure and never came back. He finally brought the ketchup after we asked a second time. The meal itself was okay. The portions weren’t too big but they weren’t small either. When my glass was empty, I asked for some more water. He once again forgot. This was one of the worst restaurant experiences. I highly do not recommend Andersen’s.

I'm in the business of selling education. That is I am a tutor. Selling education is very easy. Parents want their children to succeed at almost any cost. I work for a private company so it is a financial burden for the parents to send their children to get tutored. We don't get the cream of the crop students. We mostly get the students that might not even measure up to average. More emphasis has to be put on educating children. So many don't know and don't even want to learn. Everyone is an educator. Whether you teach them math, English, or maybe a skill that you have like bowling or driving or dancing. These minds are sponges that are ready to soak up everything. Give them something to soak up.

Mulholland Madness at Disney's California Adventure is a scary ride...but scary in a different way.

Chick Hearn died yesterday after falling in his home in Encino. He suffered head damage that caused him to have over two hours of surgery. Southern California has lost a living legend. He held the record for announcing the most continuous number of games at 3,338. He didn't call in sick for almost forty years. Listening to a Lakers game will never be the same. I never heard a Lakers game without Chick giving the play by plays since last year when he had heart surgery. It was something that doesn't seem right. He will be missed.

I went to Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure over the weekend. Amusement parks isn't much fun for anyone. I've spent a lot of time watching people that are there. Most people aren't too happy. Children are crying. Parents are yelling. No one seems to be enjoying him or herself. The reason to go to these parks isn't to have fun. I like to go there because of the environment. It's nice that you can ride a carriage around or just take a nice stroll around the park. Enjoy the perfectly trimmed trees, the spotless ground, and the things you don't get to see everyday.

The second kinds of people that I hate are whiners. These people can complain all day. No one likes to hear you complain. More importantly no one cares that you are complaining. Sure these matters may mean a lot to you, but it only means a lot to you and no one else. Complaining doesn't help. It just drags people down to the low level that you are at. People need to stop whining. Just suck it up and deal with it.

There are two kinds of people that I really hate: liars and whiners. Unfortunately children are both. You may not think of children to be liars. They're so young and innocent. How can the thought of them lying even exist? That's one of the greatest misconceptions and kids know it. They use it over and over again to fool us. The best liars in the world are the ones that tell the truth. Listen to children when they talk. It's ridiculous how often they lie. They might take extra pieces of candy without telling you or steal things behind your back. We give too much credit in thinking they are innocent. The root of the problem is that we have deceiving children. And we wonder how we have such a corrupt world today.
