I was in a pet store today when I noticed a book on a shelf titled Turtles for Dummies. These dummy books have really been catching on. But is this particular book a good idea? Should dummies have turtles? If you recognize yourself as a dummy, why do you want to take the responsibility of owning a turtle? Turtles are living things. I fear for the turtle whose owner is a dummy.
