Teachers are in a special profession. Teachers aren't the same as they used to be. I see a lot of people complain about bad teachers. I don't believe that is true. Teachers have a very hard job. Most people won't cut it being a teacher. The secret to teaching isn't about telling a student how to add or read. Anyone can do that. It is easy to explain that 1 + 1 = 2. Teachers today have to reach a child. They have to make a child want to learn. There are too many distractions for children not to learn. How do you make a child focus on doing work? It is not an easy task. Reaching a child is a talent that is very hard to learn. I have tried reaching children and it's almost impossible. Next time when you see a teacher, be sure to thank them. Be sure to recognize them for their work. Be sure they know that what they are doing is important and very valuable. Try teaching. See how difficult it really is.
